Section 1-1117. REFERRAL OF POTENTIAL CRIMINAL VIOLATIONS

1117.1The Board shall report any reported violation reasonably believed to be a violation of criminal law to the IG, in accordance with established policies and procedures. The Board shall send copies of all relevant files to the IG (or the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia), maintain a record of each referral, and ascertain and record the disposition of each referred matter.

1117.2If the IG declines in writing to pursue the matter, the Board shall resume consideration of the violation.
