Section 1-2209. RECOMMENDATIONS

2209.1The Board shall transmit its recommendation to the Mayor within sixty (60) days after the hearing or when no objection to the exemption has been filed, thirty (30) days after the deadline for comments published in the public notice.
2209.2The Board shall arrive at its recommendation based upon a majority vote of the members.
2209.3If the Board’s vote results in a tie, the Board shall transmit to the Mayor the votes of each member and the reasons for the vote of each member.
2209.4A member not present at the hearing may participate in the vote upon becoming familiar with the record.
2209.5The Board shall mail at the same time it transmits its recommendation to the Mayor, copies of its recommendation to the applicant and to all parties involved in the proceeding.
2209.6The Board shall make public, on a regular basis, all recommendations.
