Section 1-5602. REVIEW OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY PROCUREMENTS

5602.1Pursuant to D.C. Official Code § 1-1403, the Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) shall review and approve all agency proposals, purchase orders, and contracts valued over $ 25,000 for the acquisition of information technology items or services, and shall recommend approval or disapproval to the Chief Procurement Officer.
5602.2Any agency proposal, purchase order, or contract valued over $ 25,000 for the acquisition of information technology items or services that has not been reviewed by the Office of the Chief Technology Officer and recommended for approval to the Chief Procurement Officer shall be deemed recommended for disapproval to the Chief Procurement Officer.
