Section 10-B2704. PREPARATION OF PLAT RECORD: SUBDIVIDE LAND AND GROUND

    2704.1The Surveyor shall prepare all plats of subdivisions for creating lots of record.

     

    2704.2The Surveyor shall not cause work to be done on the plat of subdivision until the required fee has been paid to the D.C. Treasurer and a receipt has been filed in the Office of the Surveyor.

     

    2704.3The fee shall be in accordance with a schedule of fees adopted by the Mayor.

     

    2704.4Recording of the plat of subdivision shall not take place until all information required thereon shall have been completed.

     

    2704.5All plats of subdivision shall comply with the following:

     

    (a)The true bearings of the boundary lines shall be given in degree, minutes and seconds with their lengths in feet and decimal parts of a foot;

     

    (b)All subdivisions shall be located by dimension to a point of record;

     

    (c)All squares and lots shall be numbered; and

     

    (d)All streets shall be identified by number, name or letter of the alphabet as required in §2715.
