Section 10-B3000. BOARD FOR THE CONDEMNATION OF INSANITARY BUILDINGS

  • 3000.1The Board for the Condemnation of Insanitary Buildings (also referred to in this chapter as the "Board") shall operate in accordance with the provisions of Organization Order No. 102, as amended (September 27, 1954), and the provisions of D.C. Official Code § 6-901 et seq. (2001), as amended by the Abatement and Condemnation of Nuisance Properties Omnibus Amendment Act of 2000 (D.C. Law 13-281).

     

    3000.2The Board may, in its discretion, delegate to officials or employees of the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs those ministerial duties and responsibilities as the Board may from time to time determine. This authority shall be exercised in accordance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

     

    3000.3The Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs shall furnish the Board with technical facilities, advice, and assistance, and with administrative and fiscal services that may be required to permit the effective operation of the Board.
