    3606.1All Housing projects financed or otherwise assisted under the Act shall be open to all persons in accordance with applicable District and federal laws including, but not limited to, the Human Rights Act of 1977, effective December 13, 1977, as amended (D.C. Law 2-38; D.C. Official Code § 2-1401.1 et seq.), and the Equal Opportunity for Local, Small, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises Act of 2005, effective October 20, 2005, as amended (D.C. Law 16-33; D.C. Official Code § 2-218.01 et seq.).

     

    3606.2All mortgagors, contractors, and subcontractors engaged in the construction, acquisition, equipping, rehabilitation, sale, or rental of housing financed or assisted under the Act shall provide equal opportunity for employment, without discrimination, in accordance with the laws referred to in § 3606.1.
