Chapter 10-B55. BUSINESS INCUBATOR FACILITY PROGRAM |
Section 10-B5504. FACILITY SERVICES

5504.1Selected basic services are included in the lease agreement for each tenant and shall include the following:
(a)Space design and lay-out plans;
(b)Information center;
(c)Conference rooms;
(d)Janitorial;
(e)Building security;
(f)Receptionist;
(g)Building directory; and
(h)Building management.
5504.2Services provided in the facility other than those contained in §5504.1 or in the lease shall be paid for on an as-used basis.
5504.3The incubator facility shall not duplicate services that are available elsewhere; existing management support and service programs in the District, including financial services, shall be utilized.
5504.4Businesses selected for occupancy in the facility shall, to the greatest extent possible, complement each other with services that may be compatible with other tenant businesses.
5504.5Each incubator facility shall target tenant businesses that provide goods and services that are in demand by its other tenants.
5504.6Except under extraordinary circumstances, businesses proposing services that are already being provided by tenant businesses shall not be accepted into the facility.
