Section 10-C211. NOTICE OF HISTORIC LANDMARK DESIGNATION HEARING

211.1At least forty-five (45) but not more than seventy-five (75) days before a designation hearing, the Board shall send notice via first class mail to the owner of the property, the applicant for designation, and the affected Advisory Neighborhood Commission.
211.2At least thirty (30) but not more than seventy-five (75) days before a designation hearing, the Board shall publish notice in the D.C. Register.
211.3The notice shall state the date, time, place, and nature of the hearing, the name of the applicant, and an accurate description of the property proposed for designation.
211.4The notice shall also indicate the Board's intent to consider the nomination of the property to the National Register, and shall solicit the submission of written comments on the property's significance before the hearing date. The format and content of the notice shall be approved by the National Register.
