Section 11-2518. RELATIONSHIP OF PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE PLAN TO ZONING

 

2518.1Pursuant to § 7(b) of the Pennsylvania Avenue Development Corporation Act of 1972, approved October 27, 1972 (86 Stat. 1266, 1272, as amended; 40 U.S.C. § 876(b)), all new construction, including substantial remodeling, conversion, rebuilding, enlargement, extension, or major structural improvement or demolition of an existing building within the development area identified in § 2 of the Act (86 Stat. 1266; 40 U.S.C. § 871(f)), shall receive prior approval and certification by the Corporation that the construction is consistent with the implementation of the Pennsylvania Avenue Plan 1974.
