Section 11-775. SIDE YARDS (C)

 

775.1Side yards shall be provided for structures in a Commercial District as specified in this section.

 

775.2A one-family detached dwelling shall be subject to the side yard requirements of an R-1 District.

 

775.3A one-family semi-detached dwelling shall be subject to the side yard requirements of an R-2 District.

 

775.4No side yard shall be required for a hotel; but if a side yard is provided, the width of the yard shall be as follows:

 

(a)In a C-1, C-2, or C-3-A District: three inches (3 in.) wide for each foot of height of building, but not less than eight feet (8 ft.); and

 

(b)In a C-3-B, C-3-C, C-4, or C-5 (PAD) District: two inches (2 in.) wide for each foot of height of building, but not less than six feet (6 ft.).

 

775.5No side yard shall be required for any other building or structure; but if a side yard is provided, it shall be at least two inches (2 in.) wide for each foot of height of building, but not less than six feet (6 ft.).
