Section 11-840. HEIGHT OF BUILDINGS OR STRUCTURES (C-M, M)

840.1Except as provided in § 840.2 and in Chapters 20 through 25 of this title, the height of buildings or structures, not including a penthouse, in an Industrial District shall not exceed that given in the following table:

840.2Spires, towers, domes, pinnacles or minarets serving as architectural embellishments, penthouses, ventilator shafts, antennas, chimneys, smokestacks, or fire sprinkler tanks may be erected to a height in excess of that which this section otherwise authorizes. This section shall not be interpreted to bypass otherwise required special exception reviews.
840.3A penthouse may be erected to a height in excess of that which this section otherwise authorizes but shall not exceed the height, as measured from the surface of the roof upon which the penthouse is located, in the following table:
