Section 11-924. CARETAKER'S RESIDENCE (W-0)

    924.1A caretaker's residence, for a person employed on the premises, as an accessory use within a boathouse, marina, or yacht club in the W-0 District shall be permitted as a special exception.

     

    924.2In addition to demonstrating that the caretaker's residence meets the criteria for special exceptions set forth in §§ 927 and 3104 of this Title, the applicant shall further demonstrate that the residence is clearly secondary in design, location, and size to the principal use of the building.

     

    924.3The caretaker's residence shall be located within the principal building and exclusively for the use of the facility's caretaker and immediate family.

     

    924.4If the caretaker's residence is larger than 1,200 square feet, it shall occupy no more than 20% of the total area of the principal building.

     

    924.5One on-site parking space, in addition to other parking requirements, shall be provided.
