Section 11-K909. HEIGHT AND PENTHOUSES (WR)

  • 909.1 In the WR zone, the point chosen for measurement of height shall conform to the other provisions of this title, except that the point may be on either a public or private street.

    909.2 For the purposes of applying general zoning requirements of this title:

    (a) The WR-1, WR-7, and WR-8 zones shall be considered Residence zones; and

    (b) The WR-2, WR-3, WR-4, WR-5, and WR-6 zones shall be considered Mixed Use or Commercial Zones.

    909.3 Penthouses shall be subject to the regulations of Subtitle C, Chapter 15 and the height and story limitations specified in Subtitle C § 909.4.

    909.4 A penthouse constructed in accordance with the provisions of Subtitle C, Chapter 15 may be erected to a height in excess of that permitted, but shall not exceed the height, as measured from the surface of the roof upon which the penthouse sits, in the following table:
