Section 11-U509. USES NOT PERMITTED (MU-USE GROUP C)

    509.1The following uses shall not be permitted in MU-Use Groups B and C as a matter of right or as a special exception:

     

    (a) Any establishment that has as a principal use the administration of massages that is not part of a health facility;

     

    (b) Automobile or motorcycle sales or repairs;

     

    (c) Car wash;

     

    (d) Carting, express, moving, or hauling terminal or yard;

     

    (e) Chemical manufacturing, storage, or distribution;

     

    (f) Drive-through operation as either a principal or accessory use;

     

    (g) Enameling, plating, or painting (except artist's studio) as a principal use;

     

    (h) Firearms retail sales establishment;

     

    (i) Gasoline service station;

     

    (j) Material salvage;

     

    (k) Outdoor advertising or billboard;

     

    (l) Outside material storage;

     

    (m) Packing or crating operation;

     

    (n) Parking Lot:

     

    (1) Except a temporary surface parking lot permitted pursuant to Subtitle C § 718; or

     

    (2) Other than as permitted as a special exception in the MU-11 District in Subtitle U § 506.3;

     

    (o) Smelting or rendering; and

     

    (p) Sexually-oriented business establishment.
