Section 14-1710. RIGHT TO OFFICIAL REVIEW

1710.1Applicants, participants, and housing providers may request an official review of any DCHA action that affects eligibility, termination from the program, or level of assistance.

1710.2A request for an official review shall be made directly with the DCHA staff person involved in the original decision being reviewed. The request shall be made in writing.

1710.3The DCHA staff person shall schedule the review meeting with the party requesting the review and the DCHA staff person’s supervisor within seven (7) calendar days of the request.

1710.4At the review meeting the parties shall reconsider the decision, the information originally used in making the decision, and any other applicable information.

1710.5Within seven (7) calendar days of the review meeting, DCHA shall, in writing, notify the party requesting the review of its final decision.

1710.6The review meeting shall be the final administrative recourse on all matters of Tenant Assistance Program administration.
