Section 14-6001. AMENDMENT OF RULES

6001.1Any revision or amendment of chapters 60 through 65 shall be consistent with the provisions of the District of Columbia Administrative Procedure Act, D.C. Official Code §§ 2-501 et seq. (2001), except as provided for in this section.

6001.2The rules under chapters 60 through 65 may be amended by DCHA as follows:

(a)By publication as a notice in the D.C. Register where amendments are required pursuant to Federal law and regulation, and where such Federal regulation has been issued pursuant to the Federal Administrative Procedure Act; or

(b)Where Federal regulation provides any discretionary element to DHCA in adopting a policy, amendments shall be published as rules.

6001.3Any amendment to the rules under § 6001.2 shall be posted in all appropriate management offices of the District of Columbia Housing Authority (DCHA) properties.
