Section 14-7127. BEREAVEMENT LEAVE

7127.1Bereavement leave with pay for employees may be granted for up to three (3) scheduled workdays after the death of a member of the immediate family. Immediate family is defined as spouse, mother, mother-in-law, father, father-in-law, child, brother, brother-in-law, sister, sister-in-law, or any other relative who resides on a regular basis at the employee’s home, as well as relationships characterized by permanence, duration and stability normally associated with family relationships or marriage.
