Section 15-1700. APPLICABILITY

1700.1This chapter shall be applicable to and govern all transportation for hire of persons by water-carriage on navigable water solely within the District of Columbia. The transportation shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

(a)Service for individuals;

(b)Service for groups; and

(c)Charters with and without supplementary service encompassing food, beverages, or entertainment.
