2300COMMISSION AUTHORITY

2300.1Pursuant to D.C. Official Code § 34-301 (2010 Repl.), the Commission shall maintain general supervision of all gas corporations having authority, under any general or special law or under any charter or franchise, to lay down, erect, or maintain wires, pipes, conduits, ducts or other fixtures in, over, or under the streets, highways, and public places in the District of Columbia for the purpose of furnishing or distributing gas for light, heat or power.

2300.2The Commission shall maintain general supervision of all gas manufacturing and processing plants operating in the District of Columbia.
