Section 17-209. APPLICATION FOR LICENSURE

    209.1Application for a license to engage in a business or occupation covered by this chapter shall be filed with the Director in writing on the form provided and the license fee paid before any examination to engage in the business or occupation is conducted.

     

    209.2Each applicant shall furnish two (2) recent identical photographs of the applicant, one by one and one-half inches (1" x 1 1/2") in size.

     

    209.3The application for a business license filed with the Director shall include the name of the local officer representing the firm or the corporation, and the name of the master electrician or master electrician specialist who is responsible for the performance of the work done by the person, firm, or corporation.

     

    209.4Applications for a license must be sworn to before a notary public.

     

    209.5An applicant who has successfully passed the examination, and who has the qualifications and fitness to engage in a business or occupation under this chapter, shall be notified by the Director of the approval of his or her application.

     

    209.6After having been notified that he or she has successfully passed the license examination, the applicant shall file a bond, if a bond is required under §210.
