Section 17-6111. ADMINISTRATION OF MEDICATION IN EMERGENCY OR LIFE-THREATENING CIRCUMSTANCES

6111.1An anaphylaxis emergency treatment kit, epipen, AnaKit or equivalent injection system of epinephrine may be administered by a trained medication employee as prescribed by a licensed practitioner pursuant to the program's protocol or procedures.
6111.2The trained medication employee shall be trained by the supervisory registered nurse in the use of the program participant's anaphylaxis emergency kit prior to administering any treatment.
