Section 17-7000. GENERAL PROVISIONS

7000.1This chapter shall apply to applicants for and holders of a license to practice social work.

7000.2Chapters 40 (Health Occupations: General Rules) and 41 (Health Occupations: Administrative Procedures) of this title shall supplement this chapter.

7000.3All applicants for issuance, renewal, reinstatement, or reactivation of a social work license in the District of Columbia shall undergo a criminal background check in accordance with chapter 85 of title 17 of the District of Columbia Municipal Regulations.
