Section 18-2207. RIGHT-OF-WAY: BETWEEN INTERSECTIONS

    2207.1The driver of a vehicle emerging from an alley, building, private road, or driveway shall stop the vehicle immediately prior to driving onto a sidewalk or onto the sidewalk area extending across the alley, building entrance, private road, or driveway, or in the event there is no sidewalk area, shall stop at the point nearest the street to be entered where the driver has a view of approaching traffic.

     

    2207.2The driver of a vehicle crossing a sidewalk or sidewalk area shall yield the right-of-way to any pedestrian and all other traffic using the sidewalk or sidewalk area

     

    2207.3The driver of a vehicle about to enter for cross a roadway from an alley or from any place other than another roadway shall yield the right-of-way to all vehicles approaching on the roadway to be entered or crossed.

     

    2207.4The driver of a vehicle intending to leave a public roadway by turning left between intersections shall yield the right-of-way to any vehicle approaching from the opposite direction which is so close as to constitute an immediate hazard.
