Section 18-704. HEADLAMPS

    704.1Each motor vehicle other than a motorcycle or motor-driven cycle shall be equipped with at least two (2) head lamps which shall comply with the requirements and limitations set forth in this chapter.

     

    704.2Each motor vehicle required to have two (2) head lamps shall have at least one (1) head lamp on each side of the front of the motor vehicle.

     

    704.3Each motorcycle and motor-driven cycle shall be equipped with at least one (1) and not more than two (2) head lamps which shall comply with the requirements and limitations of this chapter.

     

    704.4Each head lamp on each motor vehicle, including each motorcycle and motor-driven cycle, shall be located at a height measured from the center of the head lamp of not more than fifty-four inches (54 in.) or less than twenty-four inches (24 in.) to be measured from the center of the lamp or device to the level ground on which the vehicle stands when the vehicle is without a load.
