Section 19-3410. CHANGE IN EMPLOYEE STATUS

3410.1An employee shall be eligible for health and life insurance benefits when she or he changes from temporary to permanent status. In addition, the employee shall have eligibility for: service awards, annual and sick leave accrual, and retirement.

3410.2When an employee changes from permanent part-time to permanent full-time status while in the same position, the probationary period shall begin retroactively to the date she or he was first placed into the position.
