Section 19-3413. RETIREMENT

3413.1The provisions of chapter 87 of Title 5 of the U.S. Code are made applicable to all Commission employees, except those specifically excluded by law or regulation. Procedures established for administering the retirement benefits program within the District government shall be consistent with applicable law and regulations.

3413.2The Commission shall deduct Social Security contributions from each employee’s paycheck in accordance with federal law. The amount of the deduction shall be in accordance with the current federal regulations. The employee’s deduction shall be matched with equal contribution by the Commission.
