Section 20-5802. UPGRADING UST SYSTEM PIPING

5802.1Metal piping that routinely contains regulated substances and is in contact with earthen materials shall be cathodically protected in accordance with a code of practice developed by a nationally recognized association or independent testing laboratory, specified by the Director pursuant to §§ 5506.1 and 5506.2.

5802.2Metal piping that routinely contains regulated substances and is in contact with earthen materials shall meet the requirements of either § 5704.3(a) or (b) and § 5704.4.

5802.3Metal piping that routinely contains regulated substances and is in contact with earthen materials that does not meet the requirements of §§ 5802.1 and 5802.2, shall be replaced with new piping and satisfy the requirements of § 5704.
