Section 20-6603. NOTICE OF SUSPENSION, REVOCATION OR DENIAL OF A LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION

6603.1An action to suspend, revoke, or refuse to issue, renew, or restore a license or certification provided for in § 7(a) of the Act and Chapter 65 of this Subtitle shall be initiated by a notice of proposed suspension, revocation or denial in accordance with this section in lieu of a notice of violation pursuant to § 6601.

6603.2The notice of proposed suspension, revocation or denial shall be in writing and shall include the following:

(a)The name and address of the applicant for or holder of the license or certification;

(b)A statement of the proposed action;

(c)A statement of the reasons for the proposed action in compliance with the requirements of § 8 of the Act; and

(d)Notice that the Respondent has a right to a hearing at the time and place stated, and is required to file an answer.
