Section 20-713. WASTE GAS DISPOSAL FROM VAPOR BLOW-DOWN SYSTEM

713.1The emission of hydrocarbon gases into the atmosphere from a vapor blow-down system is prohibited unless these gases are burned by smokeless flares, or an equally effective control device approved by the Mayor. This section shall not apply to accidental or emergency emissions of hydrocarbons needed for safe operation of equipment and processes.
