Section 21-108. TAMPERING WITH WATER FIXTURES

    108.1No person shall willfully or maliciously break, remove, injure, deface, or destroy any water main, bend, branch, sleeve, cap, valve, valve box, hydrant, fountain, hose. connection, fire hydrant, service pipe, stopcock box, meter, or any other fixture, thing, or covering used or connected with the distribution of water throughout the avenues, streets, or alleys in the District of Columbia.

     

    108.2No person shall willfully or maliciously break, remove, injure, deface, or destroy any water main, bend, branch, sleeve, cap, valve, valve box, hydrant, fountain, hose connection, fire hydrant, service pipe, stopcock box, meter, or any other fixture, thing, or covering used or connected with the introduction of water into any building or structure in the District of Columbia.

     

    108.3Conviction of a violation of the provisions of this section shall be punishable by a fine of one hundred dollars ($100).
