Section 21-709. COLLECTION VEHICLES

709.1Collection vehicles shall be properly maintained and cleaned.
709.2Collection vehicles shall be constructed and operated to prevent spillage.
709.3Each collection vehicle shall be equipped with a dumping mechanism.
709.4Each collection vehicle shall be registered with the Mayor in accordance with DC Code § 50-1501.02. Any owner of a collection vehicle who can provide proof that the vehicle is registered in another state and that an excise tax for the issuance of a certificate of title has already been paid in another state, is exempt until September 30, 1980, from the provisions of DC Code § 50-2201.03(j).
