Section 21-808. SUPERCANS

808.1Supercans shall be issued to eligible dwelling units for the exclusive use in the storage and collection of residential refuse.

808.2Only Supercans registered to and issued by the District shall be eligible for District collection service.

808.3Supercans issued without charge to eligible dwelling units shall remain the property of the District and shall be returned to the District at the time the dwelling unit is vacant.

808.4A second Supercan will be issued by the District upon request at no cost to District residents when the normal rate of refuse generation (excluding yard debris and leaves) routinely exceeds the capacity of a single Supercan.

808.5The District shall be responsible for the replacement of Supercans which are lost or damaged through no fault of the residents of the dwelling unit.
