Section 22-B212. CLEANSING OF PREMISES

212.1Upon release from isolation, removal to a hospital, or any other change of location of any person affected with diphtheria, smallpox, tuberculosis, or any salmonella infection, the room or rooms which have been occupied by the person shall be cleansed, disinfected, or renovated in a manner prescribed and approved by the Director.
212.2The Director may require whatever cleansing, disinfection, or renovation as he or she determines is necessary to protect the public health in connection with any case of communicable disease.
212.3No person shall occupy a room formerly occupied by a person affected by a communicable disease until after the terminal cleansing as prescribed by this section.
