Section 22-B3257. PEST CONTROL

3257.1The facility shall have a pest control program that includes integrated pest management (IPM) principles to minimize the use of pesticides and encourage the use of the least toxic and least flammable effective insecticides and rodenticides.
3257.2Pest control services shall be provided either by maintenance staff or by contract with a pest-control company.
3257.3Each facility shall be constructed and maintained so that the premises are free from insects and rodents, and shall be kept clean and free from debris that might provide harborage for insects and rodents.
3257.4Each openable window shall be screened.
3257.5Each opening to the outside shall minimize the influx of insects.
3257.6The facility shall use the least toxic and the least flammable effective insecticides and rodenticides.
