Section 22-B3412. CONFIDENTIALITY OF RECORDS

    3412.1Reports and records of a community residence facility specifically identifying residents of a community residence facility and permanent records of each resident shall be confidential and shall not be made available for public inspection to persons not involved in the resident’s health care unless the names of residents and other identifying characteristics of the residents are removed or the resident gives his or her written consent to the other use.

     

    3412.2The provisions of § 3412.1 shall not apply to officials of the District responsible for the enforcement of chapters 30 through 34 of this title.

     

    3412.3No studies based on any community residence facility records shall identify the community residence facility by name without its written consent, or any resident by name without the resident’s written consent or that of his or her sponsor, if any.
