Section 22-B9505. PUBLICIZING PROCUREMENT ACTIONS

 

9505.1A notice of availability for each solicitation for a proposed procurement may be published in a major newspaper of local circulation. Additional advertisements may be placed when it is considered appropriate.

 

9505.2The time between the issuance of the solicitation and the date set for bid opening or receipt of initial proposals shall not be less than thirty (30) calendar days, except as provided by §9505.3.

 

9505.3The requirements of solicitation advertising shall not apply to any of the following:

 

(a)Sole source procurement (§9600);

 

(b)Emergency procurement (§9601);

 

(c)Small purchases (§9602); and

 

(d)Medical and human care services (§9503).
