Section 24-522. PROPANE AND OPEN FLAME PERMIT

    522.1No person shall operate a vending vehicle, cart, or stand that uses propane, open flames, or solid fuels such as wood pellets or charcoal, without meeting the following standards:

     

    (a)The person shall hold a valid propane or open flame permit from FEMS;  and

    (b)A vending vehicle, cart, or stand that uses propane cylinders in excess of  sixty pounds (60 lbs.) shall have received the approval of the Fire Marshal.

     

    522.2Application for a propane or open flame permit shall be made to FEMS on a form and in the manner prescribed by FEMS or the Fire Marshal.
