Section 25-A503. FOOD CONTAMINATION PREVENTION - ANIMALS, PROHIBITION ON HANDLING

503.1Food employees shall not care for or handle animals that may be present in the food establishment, such as patrol dogs, or service animals that are allowed as specified in §§ 3214.2(b) through (e).
503.2Food employees may handle or care for fish in aquariums or molluscan shellfish or crustacea in display tanks if they wash their hands as specified in § 401 and § 402.1(c).
