Section 25-B1100. GENERAL PROVISIONS

1100.1Food processing operations shall develop and implement written recall procedures in accordance with 21 CFR 7.42 - Recall strategy, and 21 CFR 107.230 - Elements of an infant formula recall.

1100.2Shellfish dealers shall develop and implement written procedures for conducting recalls of adulterated and misbranded shellfish products in accordance with 21 CFR 7.42 - Recall strategy.

1100.3Recall procedures shall include timely notification to the Department of the following information:

(a)The situation requiring the recall; and

(b)The consignees or distributors who received the affected product, and the effective removal or correction of the affected product.
