Section 25-B2303. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS - TYPES OF SHELLFISH DEALER CERTIFICATIONS

    2303.1Any dealer who shucks and packs shellfish shall be certified as a shucker packer. A shucker-packer may act as a shellstock shipper, or reshipper, or may repack shellfish originating from other dealers.

     

    2303.2Any dealer who repacks shucked shellfish shall be certified as a repacker. A repacker may act as a shellstock shipper or reshipper.

     

    2303.3Any dealer who buys, repacks, or sells shellstock shall be certified as a shellstock shipper. A shellstock shipper may also ship shellfish shucked by a certified shucker-packer.

     

    2303.4Any dealer who only purchases shellstock or shucked shellfish from dealers and sells the product without repacking or relabeling to other dealers, wholesalers, or retailers shall be certified as a reshipper.
