Section 25-B3601. PROHIBITED CONDUCT - EGG & EGG PRODUCTS

    3601.1No person shall buy, sell, or transport, offer to buy or sell, or offer or receive for transportation any restricted eggs capable of use as human food, except as authorized in accordance with section 702.

     

    3601.2No egg handler shall possess with intent to use, or use, any restricted eggs in the preparation of human food, except that such eggs may be so possessed and used in accordance with section 702.

     

    3601.3No person shall process any egg products, except in accordance with section 702.

     

    3601.4No person shall buy, sell, or transport, offer to buy or sell, or offer or receive for transportation any egg products required to be inspected under this Code unless they have been so inspected and the egg products are labeled and packaged in accordance with section 702.

     

    3601.5No person shall forge, alter, detach or destroy any official device, mark, or certificate relating to eggs or egg products.

     

    3601.6No person shall knowingly possess, without promptly notifying the Department, any official device or any counterfeit, simulated, forged, or improperly altered official certificate or any device or label relating to eggs or egg products, or any eggs or egg products bearing any counterfeit, simulated, forged, or improperly altered official mark.

     

    3601.7No person shall knowingly make any false statement in any shipper's certificate or other nonofficial or official certificate as prohibited under section 702.

     

    3601.8No person shall knowingly represent that any egg or egg product has been inspected or exempted under this Code when in fact it has not been so inspected or exempted.
