    1000.1The Department may impose civil infraction fines penalties for violations of any provision of these regulations pursuant to the Department of Consumer & Regulatory Affairs Civil Infractions Act of 1985, (Civil Infraction Act), effective October 5, 1985 (D.C. Law 6-42; D.C. Official Code §§ 2-1801 et seq. (2012 Repl.)).

     

    1000.2A licensee who receives a Notice of Infraction as specified in Subsection 900.1(c), may pay the assessed fine or appear before the Office of Administrative Hearings as directed on the reverse side of the Notice of Infraction in accordance with the “Office of Administrative Hearings Rules of Practice and Procedure” in Section 2808, Title 1 DCMR, as amended.
