Section 26-A3901. LICENSING EXAMINATION

    3901.1Except as provided in § 3900.10, no person shall act as a public insurance adjuster in the District unless that person has taken and passed a licensing examination, which may be administered by the Department or by a vendor under contract to the Department.

     

    3901.2Examinations shall be administered at such times and places as may be designated by the Commissioner. If a contract vendor is utilized it shall provide the Commissioner with at least 60 days prior notice of the dates and times of the scheduled examinations.

     

    3901.3The Commissioner shall have the sole responsibility for establishing minimum qualification and passing requirements for candidates taking the licensing examination. The qualification and passing requirements shall be on file at the offices of the Department and shall be made available for public inspection.
