Section 26-C200. APPLICATIONS TO DO BUSINESS

200.1Any application required by these rules shall be made by filing the Form(s) designated by the section(s) of these rules governing the activity for which approval is being sought. Any application required to be filed with the Commissioner for information only shall not be subject to any fee and need not be approved by the Commissioner before commencement of the activities described in the application.
200.2Except as provided in subsection 200.3 of these rules, any person applying to conduct in the District a business within the scope of these rules, whether de novo, by acquisition, directly or indirectly, shall file the appropriate application with the Commissioner for approval.
200.3Any bank or bank holding company applying to conduct a business described in D.C. Official Code §§ 1301 et seq. or any element of a business described in that section shall be subject to the approval requirements of subsection 200.2.
200.4The Commissioner may modify the information required by an application form upon a determination that the information provided in response to the requirement is insufficient to provide a complete answer to the question posed in the application or is repetitious of current information that is already on file with the Commissioner.
