Section 27-1541. CONTRACT AWARDS

    1541.1The contracting officer shall award each contract to the responsible and responsive bidder whose bid meets the requirements set forth in the IFB, and is the lowest bid price or lowest evaluated bid price, considering only price and price-related factors included in the IFB.

     

    1541.2A bid shall not be evaluated for any criterion that is not set forth in the IFB.

     

    1541.3A contract shall not be awarded until all required approvals have been obtained by the contracting officer.

     

    1541.4The contracting officer shall award a contract by written notice within the time for acceptance specified in the bid or an extension.

     

    1541.5The date of contract award shall be the date that the contracting officer signed the contract.
