Section 27-1623. AMENDMENT OF SOLICITATION BEFORE CLOSING DATE

    1623.1After the issuance of a solicitation, but before the date set for receipt of proposals, the contracting officer may make changes in the solicitation to reflect any of the  following:

     

    (a)Significant changes in quantity, specifications, or delivery schedules;

     

    (b)The correction of defects or ambiguities;

     

    (c)A change in the closing date and time for receipt of proposals; or

     

    (d)Any other appropriate purpose affecting the procurement.

     

    1623.2The contracting officer shall determine if the closing date and time needs to be changed when amending a solicitation, and shall notify all prospective offerors of any change in the closing date necessitated by an amendment.  

     

    1623.3The contracting officer shall not award a contract unless all amendments made to the RFP have been issued in sufficient time to be considered by prospective  offerors.
