Chapter 27-22. CONTRACTORS |
Section 27-2201. SPECIAL STANDARDS OF RESPONSIBILITY

2201.1When necessary for a particular procurement or class of procurements, the contracting officer shall develop, with the assistance of appropriate specialists, special standards of responsibility.
2201.2Special standards shall be developed when experience has demonstrated that unusual expertise or specialized facilities are needed for adequate contract performance.
2201.3The contracting officer shall set forth the special standards in the solicitation.
2201.4The special standards set forth in the solicitation shall apply to all bidders or offerors.
2201.5The contracting officer shall award food contracts only to those prospective contractors that meet the general standards set forth in §2200, and are approved in accordance with the applicable sanitation standards and procedures set forth in Title 23 of the D.C. Municipal Regulations (DCMR) and any additional requirements set forth in the solicitation.
