Section 27-2309. DISTRICT DELAY OF WORK

2309.1If the District unreasonably delays the work on a contract, the contractor may submit a written claim for equitable adjustment of the contract price based on increases in the cost of performance due to the work delay, in accordance with the procedures set forth in Chapter 38 of this title.

2309.2The contracting officer shall retain in the file a record of all negotiations leading to any equitable adjustment, along with related cost or pricing data.
