Section 27-2601. SPECIFICATIONS

2601.1In addition to the requirements of this section, construction specifications shall conform to the requirements of chapter 25 of this title.

2601.2Where applicable, contracting officers shall ensure that references in specifications conform to widely recognized standards for specifications promulgated by governments, industries, and technical societies.

2601.3When "brand name or equal" descriptions are necessary, specifications shall clearly identify and describe the particular physical, functional, or other characteristics of the brand name items that are considered essential to satisfying the requirement.
