Section 27-3200. PROVIDING CONTRACT FINANCING

    3200.1Generally, private financing shall be considered the most preferable type of financing for all District contracts.

     

    3200.2Contract financing by the District shall be provided only to the extent actually needed for prompt and efficient performance considering the availability of private financing.

     

    3200.3Contract financing shall be administered so as to aid, not impede, a procurement.

     

    3200.4The contracting officer shall avoid any undue risk of monetary loss to the District through contract financing.

     

    3200.5The contracting officer shall monitor the contractor's financial status and the contractor's use of any contract financing provided under the contract.

     

    3200.6Contract financing by the District shall be self-liquidating through contract performance.
